furious!

this sucks..i just had a super argument and i mean a SUPER MAJOR MEGA argument with someone.

over what?

MAKEUP.

seriously, DON'T EVER ARGUE WITH ME OVER MAKEUP.

if you know you could look better with makeup, then why don't take the initiative to slab on a little foundation and draw your eyes before going out?

going out not meaning to the mamak or pasar malam, that one noneed to put of course.

it annoys the fuck out of me when someone says that makeup is unnecessary.

PLEASE. there are no ugly women, JUST LAZY ONES.

well, im sorry that im not born with deep set double eyelid eyes and super nice nose with flawless skin..what's makeup created for? to help us girls look better so why DO PEOPLE STILL INSIST THAT MAKEUP IS OVERRATED WHEN IT IMPROVES YOUR LOOK DAMMIT.

its now not a matter of just looking attractive on the outside, but also a matter of confidence. to be frank, i really do look better with makeup so why would i want to step out of the house looking ugly when i know i can look proper (but with a little effort) ?????

YOU TELL ME.

what bullshit is that that makeup is not natural? plastic surgery isn't but makeup..well, its still on your face right?! seriously, you wan't to look ugly when you have the ability to look better is it?!

even if you do, people will start talking and bitching about you behind your back..i swear if anyone were to see me without makeup and with uncombed hair, the amount of criticisms i will get would have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled.

and then you will proceed into saying, "so what? why care about what others' think about you?"

once again, PLEASE. ask youself, "YOU REALLY DON'T CARE?" as i said, its not a matter of the outlook now, its confidence as well! i don't believe that any of you would feel happy if the person of the opposite sex (whom you happen to secretly admire perhaps...) come and tell you that you are freaking ugly.

geez.

and what if you can transform your ugliness into something presentable with makeup?

of course you would want to avoid those harsh comments and just be able to live a carefree, satisfying life right?!

back to how makeup is plain cheat and that natural beaty is the best.

yes, some people are born looking fantastic all the time.well, sad enough to say, i am certainly not..if "natural beauty" is the best and that makeup is not original, i suggest you don't bother brushing your teeth as well..throw away those comb of yours and burn down all the saloons in the world.

don't go and straighten your hair and don't even waste time to dye it since you are "not being natural".

what's the difference? you are still transforming your hair into something which it wasn't naturally born as what!

teeth also don't go and put braces and let it grow out of shape la if like that.

all you are trying to do is to look better..why not? is that a crime?

i totally DESPISE it when people tell me that i am too young for makeup and that i should focus on studying now.

THIS IS UTTER BULLSHIT.

if i don't take the opportunity to dress myself up and "improve" my looks now that im still young and fresh, don't tell me wait until 60 years old when my skin gets saggy and pigmentated only start with applying some concealer to cover is it?! i can bet my penny that you'll regret by then. I CAN CONFIDENTLY BET ON THIS.

makeup is for the young and old because the function is equally the same; improve looks of people who are imperfect naturally (there are only less than a handful of natural beauties i tell you..as if its our fault for using makeup on our less "perfect face" pffft)

the generation has changed..you can no longer walk into malls or streets and not see girls without makeup. please learn to update yourselves according to the trend.

frankly, if a girl at this tender age is to be scolded and nagged because she uses makeup when she "should actually be studying", then i think everyone would only start looking presentable when they are 60..and then there will be no "hot chicks" around for you men.

not only that, we girls have to face the fact that guys are attracted to beautiful/ presentable women..would you as a guy choose a girl who doesn't give two shits about how she looks like or choose someone who could carry herself in the best way possible?

if im you, i'll definately pick the latter.

once again, there are no ugly women but lazy ones..makeup is the best cure for all "ugly" people provided it is not overdone of course.

so now, what else do you want to argue about makeup with me? it slowly shapes your confidence and indirectly becomes part of your teenage life.

some of you might not understand but oh well, screw you cos that's not my problem anymore.

i can't really express myself well because i can seriously argue better verbally rather than to type it out. i can argue until you shut up about this issue because trust me, you don't know how i feel even if this is something petty.

sometimes i find it damn offensive because people who tend to argue with me over this issue happens to be people who either don't wear makeup or are well off even without the help of that miracle invention.

no one would rather see me like this;

or like this;

i admit that im ugly without makeup what..so? if i go for plastic surgery then that's definately not natural already and then there it goes, someone will bring this issue up upon judgement..so does that mean that if you're born ugly, you'll ALWAYS be ugly? NO, unless you are lazy enough and don't care about how people would look at you.

not to critisize or what la but makeup according to where you are heading to..let's take clubbing for example..i really cannot stand girls who don't even bother putting a single drop of makeup on their face! how can?! if your answer happen to be because "its dark and no one would notice", please..i advice you go up to the 27th floor and jump off the building.

another classic example is that it's exactly like your wedding day minus looking gorgeous..then your photo album would consist of pictures of you as the bride looking haggard with unplucked brows, pimpled skin and frizzy hair.

hairdryer died on me by the way so this was the best i could do using my hands to pat my hair dry.

don't i just look FANTASTIC without makeup on?

Photobucket

wasn't using any foundation/ concealer in this picture above..see those pimples? yeah, that's what you get if you choose to go "all natural"

so for all those lazy girls out there, DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELVES AND NOT JUST WHINE about how makeup is fake and such..remember, no pain, no gain.

chill gurl!

you see, no guys will complaint when their girlfriend took a little effort to look more presentable..

although i prefer my ex going natural, when she really takes the extra effort to put on some make up and make herself that much prettier, i would feel happy too cuz i know she put it on for me.. not to mention she looks so much leng lui-er as well! haha!

and well celine, i dont think you look "ugly" without your make up.. seen you like that for a couple of years back in wesley and you look fine =)

*of course i wouldnt mind you dressing up cuz you look HELLA FINE with make up on, and thats a compliment! =D*

thanks so much Jowee :)

yeah, especially when guys make negative remarks about makeup when they don't actually use it..its exactly like telling them not to use gel/wax/clay to style their hair.
